You can only upload a photo (png, jpg, jpeg) or a video (3gp, 3gpp, mp4, mov, avi, mpg, mpeg, rm). I've called AppleCare several times and they can't help me figure this out... soo... anyway perhaps it's just an old iPod and on it's way out.

However, if you want to restore your iPod using iTunes, you will get the same application in use message, which prevents you from restoring your iPod (at least using iTunes). good luck. I leave for a ski trip tomorrow and was tweakin cuz i thought i would be without my ipod!

I use that or the Eject option when I right click on that drive (not sure the difference, they seem to do the same thing). I had this problem and it was my third party disk defragmenter that was preventing my iPod from ejecting.As far as the noise, I suppose it depends on how loud. I can disconnect it through windows before I run iTunes. I was starting to freak out because if I didn't figure it out my brother would've told me I broke something somehow.

Here's what I've done regarding this iPod and iTunes: * reset the iPod * restored the iPod * uninstalled and re-installed iTunes * selected and unselected the various things I'm syncing It pauses for a moment, then I look down and the iPod suddenly has those syncing, circular arrows, moving again and it says "Synchronizing- do not disconnect". OK... Geez, Thank you SOOOOOO much.
Do you have any suggestions?
