This will remove all print jobs currently in the print queue. That took care of it.. December 15, 2011 Roger This happens to me on the odd occasion, and deleting it sometimes works and sometimes not, resulting in rebooting system. These are the exact issues I was having: Cancel does nothing. Delete does nothing. Stopping the spooler via services does nothing. Powering off the printer then re-powering does nothing. Rebooting does nothing.
- Step 1: Delete job files and restart Whenever a print job is sent to the printer a file is created in Windows.
- I had pending print jobs on 2 printers and they FINALLY cleared!
