MINOCQUA WINTER PARK’S 35th LAKELAND LOPPET

Now in it’s 35th year the Lakeland Loppet is one of Wisconsin’s longest running cross-country ski races.   On Saturday, March 6th citizens of all ages are invited to take part in this fund-raising event at Minocqua Winter Park.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Minocqua Winter Park Trail Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.

The Lakeland Loppet has something for the entire family.  For ages 13 and up there is a choice of 8K classic, 8K freestyle, 25K classic, 25K freestyle, 8Kclassic and 25K classic best of both, and an 8K freestyle and 25K freestyle. There is a 4K and a 2K for the younger kids, and if you’re not a racer you can sign up for the 8K or 25K tours.  In addition we have a great Prize Raffle planned.  The first 200 registrants receive a T-shirt.
