Can you outrun the deer-flies? The 3rd Annual Muggy Buggy Fun Run: 5K Run/Walk, a Minocqua Winter Park summertime initiative, is a soft surface run/walk through the rolling landscape and boreal forest around Squirrel Hill.

This is a spectacular course encompassing eskers, hills, forest pathways. You will not have to deal with traffic nor motorists. The entire course follows the renowned ski trails at Minocqua Winter Park. Check-in will be from 6:30am to 7:50am on Saturday, July 3rd 2010 in the Chalet at Minocqua Winter Park. Awards will be given to the first place male and the first place female runners in the age divisions of 7 and under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. (Race Registration DOES NOT include a t-shirt: In an effort to be greener we've made t-shirts an optional sale item and were able to reduce race entry fees by doing so.)Water and Gatorade will be supplied at start/finish area. Race Numbers must be displayed on your front and worn as you cross the finish line. Giving your race number to another person will result in disqualification. NOT COMPUTER CHIP TIMED. Rain or shine, no refunds.
